Senior Paralegal: Iris Castro

Iris Castro is a Senior Paralegal at Lightman Law Firm.

Iris has over 6 years of experience as a paralegal in immigration law focusing on family immigration, employment-based immigration, and citizenship. She assists clients with all aspects of family immigration, including K1 visas, green cards, and removing conditions on permanent residency. She also helps clients naturalize and obtain U.S. citizenship. Additionally, Iris is experienced with various employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant filings, including TN, E3, I-140 petitions and employment-based adjustment of status applications.

As an immigrant to the U.S., Iris has a unique perspective and first-hand experience navigating the U.S. immigration system, which informs how she approaches her work and drives her to help clients with the utmost transparency and empathy.

Iris is a graduate of Rutgers University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
